Luang Phor Sawai was borned on 18th January BE2464 at Bahn Rahchakahm, Ampher (District) Bahng Thai, Jangwat (Province)Pranakonsee Ayuttaya.

When he was 16 years of age, he was ordained as a novice monk at Wat Preedahrahm. He became a monk at the age of 20 years old. Luang Phor Yai, Wat Bahng Chahng Dai was his preceptor.
Phra Ah Jahn Jerm was the abbot of Wat Preedahnrahm and he taught Luang Sawai on dhamma teaching.

Luang Por Sawai studied the Dhamma diligently. He went for Tudong (forest monk) to practise samahdti (mediation) in Issan's (North-Eastern part of Thailand) forest alone, not leaving the forest for a long as 85 days.

After he returned to Nakon Patom, he learned 108 different kinds of chant from teachers, such as Luang Poo Poon Wat Maipingeow, Luang Phor Ngern Wat Yaisom, Luang Phor Khaow Wat Suansom and even from some Archan such as Archan Yang.

Luang Phor Sawai was a very good monk that had kept his practise the dhamma and kepts his precepts well. He passed away peacefully on 10th October BE2543.
